Welcome!

Hello! I am a graduate student in the Department of Philosophy at UC San Diego. My research focuses on human agency and responsibility, especially under non-ideal circumstances. Specific topics I’m interested in include the nature and efficacy of self-control, the nature of self-deception, and how conditions of inequality impact agency. My work aims to address how people reason under these kinds of non-ideal circumstances, the degree to which they are responsible for their own actions, and how we ought to respond to non-ideal agency at the interpersonal and political levels.
